Snow Hill, a documentary about Andrew Wyeth included an old folk melody that I remember hearing on an old Sing-Out record. The Snow Hill theme took this melody as a base and we created mutiple instrumental versions. info
Heartland, a documentary about Bo Bartlett, an amazing painter with whom I collaborated with on Snow Hill and numerous graphic design projects. Info
Lastly, I am producing and shooting new music videos. The moving picture is such a great way to capture what I do. The first of the new pieces is called Trenton, where I'm currently living. The transitional old neighborhood in Chambersburg is full of sounds and on one particular day I heard at least three latino family parties, all blasting their music in a war of clave's. The next morning, I wrote Trenton, inspired by what I had heard.
